​SHIPMENTS & RETURNS

Effective Date: March 2026

Below you will find detailed information on how shipping works and what applies to returns/cancellations, both for individual purchases and for the Digital Cellar of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
 

A. Shipping for the Digital Cellar

Scheduled Deliveries (Harvest Drops)

The Digital Cellar includes 4 scheduled deliveries per year:

  • March

  • June

  • September

  • November

A few days before each delivery, we send an email including:

  • a reminder of the drop,

  • its contents,

  • and the practical collection/delivery details.

Delivery to a BoxNow Locker (included)

Collection from a BoxNow locker is the standard delivery method and is included in the price of the Digital Cellar.

The customer selects a locker at the time of purchase, so there is a default collection point on file.

If there is any change or unavailability, we will inform the customer and provide instructions for selecting an alternative option.

Home Delivery (Athens only)

For Athens, optional home delivery is available at an additional charge of €10 per delivery.

This option applies only to Athens and is displayed clearly before checkout and/or before each delivery where confirmation is required.

Non-collection / Failed Delivery

BoxNow: If the parcel is not collected within the time limit set by the provider, it is returned to us. The cost of return and/or re-shipment may be carried over to the next delivery, in accordance with the Digital Cellar Terms.

Home delivery (Athens): Up to 2 delivery attempts are made. If delivery cannot be completed, the parcel is returned to us and the cost of return and/or re-shipment may be carried over to the next delivery, in accordance with the Terms.
 

B. Shipping for Individual Purchases (outside the Digital Cellar)

For orders placed outside the Digital Cellar:

  • the available shipping methods and charges are shown at checkout,

  • the cost depends on the destination, weight/volume, and available delivery options,

  • the estimated delivery time is shown where available or confirmed by email after the order is placed.

C. Returns & Right of Withdrawal (general)

The consumer has the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days, in accordance with the applicable legal framework.

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply in cases such as:

  • goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly,

  • sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, once they have been unsealed after delivery.

Due to the nature of olive oil as a food product:

  • returns are accepted only if the packaging (bottle/tin) is intact, sealed, and the safety seal has not been broken,

  • products that have been opened, or whose packaging has been damaged, cannot be returned for hygiene and food safety reasons.

Return Procedure

To request a return:

  • contact us through the Contact page within the applicable time limit,

  • we will provide return instructions,

  • once the product has been checked, we will proceed with a refund or another appropriate solution, depending on the case and the applicable terms.

D. Cancellations & Returns specifically for the Digital Cellar

The Digital Cellar operates under special terms, due to quantity commitment and scheduled deliveries.

E. Defective Product / Incorrect Shipment

If you receive a product with an issue or an incorrect shipment, please contact us immediately and provide:

  • the order number,

  • photos of the packaging/product,

  • a short description of the issue.

We will propose the fastest suitable solution, depending on the case, such as replacement, credit, or refund.
